This individual kitchen combines both contemporary and traditional design by incorporating simple top units, which have no handles and are finished in a satin spray-paint, with the more traditional lower units, which have oak flat-panelled doors. The hand-painted bead-and-butt doors, with hidden shallow storage behind reflect the character of this traditional cottage. Most of the materials are locally sourced, including Cotswold stone tiles on the floor and English oak for the table and the units.
